Hi, I’m Britt Furbish the founder of Anchor & Elevate, and I’m thrilled to welcome you here.
My journey with marinas and boating began long before this business—growing up on the waterways of Maryland, boating and sailing were part of daily life for my family. Summers were spent cruising through Chesapeake Bay, and as I got older, those adventures expanded to marinas and waterways across the globe. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the magic of being on the water—and the vital role marinas play in making that magic possible.
After building a career in consulting, operations, and entrepreneurship, I never imagined those skills would lead me full circle—back to the marina world.
My husband and I purchased a family-run marina in Maryland, eager to preserve its legacy while modernizing its operations. Like many small marinas, it came with challenges: outdated systems, missed revenue opportunities, and a need for strategic direction. Using the same services we now offer through Anchor & Elevate, we streamlined operations, introduced digital tools, and created a more efficient, customer-focused business. These changes allowed us to focus on what we truly love—connecting people with boating, the outdoors, and the water.
